So many people talk about what they want to be doing or working towards and a year later they are still talking about the same thing.
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable
What do I mean by this?
We are designed to continually grow, expand and change but somewhere along the line, we decided that staying the same feels safer
But this is not true, in fact, it's the opposite
The brain is interested in new and stimulating things. In fact, that is the only time it pays attention. Everything else you do, your brain is doing automatically with skills you have learnt and mastered
But as we get older, we have to pay more attention to challenging our brains and bodies so that we can age with strength, flexibility and injury and pain-free
Someone asked me what would I rather have as I age, a healthy brain or strong body?
My answer is I want both not the one or the other
What's your answer?
Once you decide for yourself, take action to implement and work towards your goal one step at a time
Very often large goals feel overwhelming but I always come back this question
