It's goal and planning time for 2021
This is something that doesn't come naturally then, I have 3 questions below to help you. Make sure you set aside 10-15 minutes of uninterrupted time for yourself so you are not rushed. Put on some music that you love
Take 3 breathes and really connect into your heart so you can tap into your desires
Ask yourself:
1. How would like to be able to move your body this time next time?
2. What would I like to be doing next year and with whom?
3. Where would I like to travel next year and what activities would I like to be able to do?
Once you have your answers, use these to create your top 3 mobility goals for 2021 for yourself.
Your goals will help direct you to what you need to focus on for 2021
But without action, a goal is just a wish!
Every action step you take as you work on your mobility gets you closer to your mobility goal of where you want to be.
Your desire for change needs to be stronger than the pain of staying the same for progress to be possible
So it's important to decide how you are going to stay on track with your goals for the year and who will help support you as you do this
Sometimes it's important to put your money where your mouth is and invest in yourself before your brain can talk yourself out of things or before your head can come up with a list a mile long of why you shouldn't do it or why now isn't the right time.
There will always be reasons why now may not be the right time but never let this stop you from doing what will help strengthen your body and enhance your mobility
But if now isn't the right time to invest and look after your body, then when will be the right time. Life has a way of creating distractions and excuses for us to focus on.
And I believe that you can't put a price on:
➡️Your independence
➡️Your mobility
➡️Your freedom of movement
As Benjamin Franklin said:
"Don't put off until Tomorrow"
What you can do Today"
Surrounding yourself with the right therapist who believes in you as much as you believe in yourself if not more and who will help keep you accountable to your goals when you need to be motivated or reminded.
